California Consumer Privacy Act

This California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Notice forms part of the Friendztravel Privacy Policy and applies specifically to California residents. It explains how we collect, use, and share personal information, as well as the rights California consumers (“you” or “your”) have under the CCPA. If there is any conflict between this notice and our main Privacy Policy, this notice will take precedence for California consumers and their personal information.

Your Rights Under the CCPA

1. Right to Access Your Personal Information
   You have the right to request details about the personal information that Friendztravel has collected about you over the past twelve (12) months. This includes information about what data we have gathered, how we use it, and with whom it has been shared. You may make such requests up to twice in a 12-month period, and we will verify your identity before providing the requested data.
2. Right to Request Deletion of Your Information
   You have the right to ask us to delete any personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal and business exceptions. Once your request is verified, we will delete your information unless retention is required by law — for example, to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or complete pending transactions. We may also retain a record of your deletion request where necessary for compliance purposes.
3. Right to Opt Out of the Sale of Personal Information
   Under the CCPA, California residents can opt out of the “sale” of their personal information. Although Friendztravel does not sell personal data in the traditional sense, we may share limited information (such as device data or browsing activity) with advertising or marketing partners, which may be considered a “sale” under the law.

Please note that opting out will not prevent us from sharing your data with service providers or partners as needed to complete your booking, process transactions, or meet legal requirements.
